Edward St. John Foundation, Inc.

The Edward St. John Foundation provides financial assistance to formal education programs through the high school level.

Over the years, more than $43 million has been contributed, pledged and gifted through donations by the Foundation, St. John Properties and Edward St. John to a variety of not-for-profit organizations in communities where we have a business presence.

Funding Status

The Edward St. John Foundation budget allocations are committed through the 2012 year. The Foundation welcomes the opportunity to learn more about various non-profit organizations and their related needs, but will not be accepting new requests for funding consideration at this time.   • In spring 2009 St. John Properties employees constructed park benches and picnic tables at Baltimore's Inner Harbor as part of a NAIOP program on behalf of the Living Classrooms Foundation.
  • Part of the proceeds from St. John Properties' inaugural 2008 5k race event benefitted the Baltimore Country Police Athletic League (PAL).
  • Part of the proceeds from St. John Properties' 2009 5k race event benefitted the Baltimore Country Police Athletic League (PAL).
  • St. John Properties supports the educational programs of the Maryland Science Center, and Ed St. John is currently chairman of the organization's Board of Trustees.
  • St. John Properties provides warehouse space to assist the U.S. Marine Marine Corps Reserve as it collects toys for its Toys for Tots program.
